As an experienced architectural leader, Wouter deal with all facets of the architectural profession. In his years of architectural service, he gained a vast knowledge of architecture and construction, and have been a project leader and principal agent for numerous multi-million-rand projects. He always keep the client in mind, and always deliver high quality buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, practical, liveable and economically considerate.

Over the past 40 years as managing director of TJ Architects Mbombela (Nelspruit) and director of TJ Architects (PTY)Ltd Group, Wouter has been involved in the full spectrum of a number of projects, among others are as follows:

Wouter’s architectural practice, Theunissen Jankowitz Nelspruit Pty. Ltd. acting as TJ Architects is well known for their outstanding aesthetically pleasing designs, their practical & user friendly layouts, and also for their economic consideration. Wouter is a strong manager who makes sure that high quality buildings are delivered to their clients.

Wouter deals with all the facets of the architectural business. He has also done extensive research on architectural planning.

Gerhard le Roux

Gerhard is an enthusiastic professional architect that enjoys leading large-scale projects and enjoy design philosophy and over the years have been able to work in various countries on challenging projects.
He is a team player and quick to grasp new ideas, concepts and to develop innovative and creative structures which eventually becomes landmarks to the public. This range from International and Domestic Airports, Local and World Cup Stadiums, Hospitals, Hotels, Lodges to large Urban solutions to name just a few.

Through the years he was able to demonstrate the high levels of inspiration required to meet project deadlines even under significant pressure and possess a strong aptitude to perform efficiently and in a professional manner.
These experiences have also equipped him to form part of specialised advisory teams for very large-scale international projects.

FRANS DE KLERK

DIRECTOR

As a Project Architect with more than 15 years' experience in mainly commercial projects, Frans has exceptional skills in the design, management and co-ordination of projects ranging from 6 800 m2 to 105 000 m2 in order to deliver a quality product within time and budget every single time. Striving to always be the best, striving for perfection and being committed towards this has provided Frans with a clear vision to follow throughout his career; a path that he has not deviated from. Frans is a strong leader and excels in pressure situations when leadership and good communication skills are the key to delivering a quality product on time. During the course of his career he has been placed in pressure situations various times, and have come out on top every time.

As the director guiding his teams, he bring knowledge and experience to the personnel in situations where pressure is high. He also provides them with the security that personnel look for in their leader by being level headed. Frans has worked with international clients including Google, Booking. Com and Virgin Active. This was achieved through perseverance, a clear view of what needed to be achieved, good leadership skills, but lastly exceptional team efforts from all his personnel.

Frans has vast experience as an active member of various Financial Committees, and has gained experience in maintaining financial soundness within the firm by ensuring budgets and/or targets are met on a monthly and yearly basis, and also keeping a finger on the pulse of expenses. Critical to this role is also identifying risks to the business and where possible set up measures to avoid these or at least minimise them. In Frans' current role, he appreciates mostly two things: to view a completed building as a monument of the hard work, skills, effort, and commitment that went into its design, documentation and coordination, and management of the construction team. Frans also loves managing teams towards these successes by guiding them through the team effort. The only means to achieve a successful project is have the team work together. The great thing about having a team that works together is that no one ever needs to stand alone.
